PTFE material has the smallest surface tension and inertness among solid materials, and does not adhere to any substances. PTFE PTFE material has the lowest coefficient of friction, excellent self-lubrication, but also has the characteristics of high and low temperature resistance, which makes it in the manufacture of non-stick pan anti-stick aspects of the application is very wide. In addition, if PTFE material is applied to rollers or other parts, used as guide wheels and polytetrafluoroethylene rollers, films, paper, textiles, etc. can pass through quickly. It can also be made into thin sheets such as chemical fiber molded sheets, textile lubricating blocks, etc. installed on looms to prevent the adhesion of various wires and PTFE special-shaped parts for mechanical equipment to prevent glue and other adhesion from being difficult to remove; as well as the use of PTFE coating and glass composite paint cloth after heat shrinkage and coated on the substrate, these applications are the use of PTFE material friction coefficient is small, non-sticky characteristics, performance of the product through the tension is reduced to the lowest, the attached dirt is also easy to clean.
Compared with other polymers, PTFE PTFE has its unique advantages, but there are also some defects, such as poor machining performance, large linear expansion coefficient, poor creep resistance, easy cold flow, poor wear resistance, molding and secondary processing difficulties, so that its application is limited. At present, the focus of research on PTFE at home and abroad is to find appropriate methods to modify it, to improve its performance to a certain extent, expand its scope of application. In order to strengthen the application research and development of PTFE, we need to focus on the research and development of new high-performance PTFE composites. PTFE manufacturers are also constantly improving and applying.
PTFE wear-resistant composite material is based on PTFE resin, by adding organic or inorganic anti-wear components and anti-wear components to show good wear resistance. The wear-resistant composite material using polymer as the matrix has a series of excellent characteristics such as self-lubrication, wear resistance, corrosion resistance, shock absorption and vibration absorption, noise reduction, low relative density, strength enhancement and simple processing, so it is used as other materials. The replacement products or replacement products have been more and more widely used. We have also noticed that the commonly used inorganic materials have good performance and low price, which can increase the hardness, wear resistance and dimensional stability of the materials, but some inorganic materials will also damage the pairs when they are rubbed. However, organic filling materials such as polystyrene and polyimide have very good wear resistance and creep resistance, because they are soft substances and will not damage the pairs, but they are expensive, therefore, the filler product should be selected reasonably according to the use environment and requirements of the material and the cost. PTFE has the highest temperature range of use space in plastics, the lowest surface energy, non-stick, corrosion resistance, insulation, non-aging, and has a unique position in the field of friction, lubrication and wear. Many scholars at home and abroad have studied and discussed the modification technology of PTFE, and believe that the quality of PTFE materials will be better improved in the future.

Packaging substrate materials: Why are ABF substrates more advanced than BT substrates?
Generally, an important variety of rigid substrate materials is copper clad laminate. It is made of reinforced material (Reinforeing Material), impregnated with resin adhesive, dried, cut and laminated into blanks, then covered with copper foil, used steel plate as a mold, and processed by high temperature and high pressure forming in a hot press. The semi-cured sheet used in the general multilayer board is the semi-finished product of the copper clad laminate in the production process (mostly glass cloth impregnated with resin, dried and processed). In a rigid PCB, the substrate material is typically FR-4. However, in the Flex PCB, the commonly used substrate materials are polyimide (PI) film and PET (polyester) film, and besides these, polymer films such as PEN (polyethylene phthalate),PTFE, and aramid can be used.

Polytetrafluoroethylene is called "plastic king". Roy Planct, the father of fluororesin, began to study freon substitutes in DuPont Company in the United States in 1936. They collected some tetrafluoroethylene and stored it in steel cylinders for the next experiment. However, when the pressure reducing valve of the steel cylinder was opened the next day, no gas overflowed. They thought it was air leakage, but when the steel cylinder was weighed, they found that the steel cylinder did not lose weight. They sawed through the cylinder and found a large amount of white powder, which was Teflon.

PTFE film is made of molded sintered cylindrical blanks, which are cut into films by machine tools and then calendered. According to the different treatment methods, it can be divided into three kinds of oriented film, semi-oriented film and non-oriented film. At present, PTFE film products include porous film, microfiltration membrane, color film and so on.
